Many people find the Internet to be the ideal place to socialize with others because of it's faceless medium and effortless ways to find others with similar interests; through the many ways of communication over the Internet, the common prejudices of life are not evident.

· Teenagers were more likely to use the Internet to play games, to listen to music, and to meet new people.
· It can also seduce the vulnerable into ignoring the real world
· The Internet has become a destructive force, its remarkable benefits overshadowed by its potential to disrupt the lives of those who can't resist the lure of round-the-clock social opportunities, entertainment, and information.
· People can become addicted to activities even when there is no true physiological dependence or physiological addiction. This basically means that behavioral addicts do not have any kind of physical dependence to the Internet. Any activity can be addicting if done to extreme.
One sure sign that person is addicted is if they deprive themselves of sleep in order to spend more time on-line.
· Another sign that someone might be addicted is if they neglect other important activities such as work, family and friends, or socializing in general to surf the Internet.
· These are just some of the many signs that point to addiction to the Internet.
· This study investigated the existence of internet addiction and the extent of caused by such potential misuse.
· It is important to note that estimates were based upon the number of hours spent "surfing the Internet" for pleasure or personal interest (e.g., personal e-mail, scanning news groups, playing interactive games) rather than academic or employment related purposes. Dependents gradually developed a daily internet habit of up to ten times their initial use as their familiarity with the Internet increased.
· The Internet's effect on human culture is much like other forms of technology have exhibited in the past, as one researcher justifies.
· Some cyberspace addictions are game and competition oriented, some fulfill more social needs, some simply may be an extension of workaholism.

BUTTER CAKE

actually nie resepi mama daku…hehe..

bahan2 die..

1 1/2 cups butter, softened (room temperature)

2 cups cake flour

1 1/2 cups castor sugar

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking powder

lemon zest

cocoa powder or milo

2 bars cadburry chocolates (hazelnut)

1 bars white chocolate

1 cups cornflakes

1. In a bowl, pukul butter dengan sugar until fluffy n creamy, 4 to 5 minutes. and then masokkan telur sebijik demi sebijik…hehe..

2. dalam satu adunan yang lain lak…mix flour dengan baking powder. kalo leh ayak dulu before masokkan… bior tepung tu ringan..masokkan kat dalam butter mixture sikit demi sikit. Beat at low speed!. pastu masokkan lak vanilla extract. bahagikan adunan pada 2 bahagian.satu campurkan ngan cocoa powder.nak guna milo pon leh.. satu agy bahagian parutkan kulit lemon@orange.actually patotnye kena wat 2 colour.. ikot kite nak wat colour pe.. tapi kat sini takde jual pewarna..terpaksa la wat cmni..hehe…sapu marjerin kat springform pan.masokkan 2 bahagian adunan tu selang seli…biar mcm belang2.hehe

3. Bakar dalam 170 ‘c oven 30 to 40 minutes. Cool in room temperature first before frosting ngan chocolate or whatever topping u like.
